Academic Qualifications:

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Loyola College, Chennai -1988.
• Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad - 1990.

Work Experience and Profile:

He started his career in Great Eastern Shipping in 1990 as a management trainee. Since then he  has served the company in Human Resources, Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Strategic Planning. 

His last profile in Great Eastern Shipping was – General Manager (Incharge – Strategic Planning and Research) which involved researching and forecasting various shipping markets, and planning the company’s investments and new business initiatives. 

Currently at GIL, he is in-charge of all support functions, including finance, accounting, human resources, information systems, and legal.
